For many hundreds of years people in
Asian and Middle Eastern countries have used the process of pigment
implantation for cosmetic and cultural purposes.
Pigment implant gives the benefits normally achieved through the
skilled use of make-up.
Micro Pigmentation can be used to create new eyebrows, extend,
darken, define and thicken sparse brows.
Various shapes of eyebrows create various illusions and impressions
and can be used to enhance the shape of the eyes.
How is Pigment implanted?
Using the finest quality needles the needle is dipped into the
pigment then is inserted into the epidermis allowing the skin
to absorb the colour. Needle penetration is shallow which gives
the semi or micro pigmentation effect.
The pigments are of vegetable origin and generally last 3 to 5
years depending on the colour used and individual person.
Discomfort factor can vary. Recovery time - slight flaking of
the skin or slight crusting formation on the brows may take two
weeks to heal. There will be a percentage of colour loss after
that time.
A second treatment may be required 6 - 8 weeks after the original
treatment and further touch-ups necessary to maintain colour intensity.
Full eyebrows cost $410.
